The Korean Adoptee Fellowship at Ewha (KAFE) assists overseas Korean adopted students in learning about their motherland through academic study and cross-cultural experiences.

Dr. Richard Hahn established this memorial scholarship for his wife, Kim Ronyoung (Mrs. Gloria Hahn) in 1988.
Mrs. Hahn is the author of “Clay Walls”, the first novel written by a Korean-American about Korean immigrants to the USA during the early 20th century.

The board of International Foundation for Ewha W. University established a scholarship fund with the undesignated income from the 40th anniversary dinner in 2010 and named it Bishop Sharon Zimmerman Rader Scholarship to honor the love, dedication and leadership for Ewha she has shown in her presidency (2002-2014). It is for non-Korean American/Canadian students to study at Ewha’s International Summer School.

Drs. Ira & Cindy Chang Hyun Shin Geer established this scholarship. Dr. Cindy Chang Hyun Shin Geer (’57 Education) graduated from Ewha Womans University and the State University of New York, Buffalo, with Ph.D. in International Education (1981). She is the author of River of Faith – 40 years history of the International Foundation for Ewha W. University. This Scholarship supports the International Summer College students from developing countries.
