본 공지사항은 재학생 및 복학 예정자 대상입니다. 2023학년도 전기 신입학 예정자는 각 입학 담당 부서에 연락하시기 바랍니다.

현재 해외 체류 중인 외국인 유학생 중 2023-1학기 입국을 위해 D-2 유학 비자 발급이 필요한 학생들을 대상으로 표준입학허가서 발급 신청을 받습니다. 아래의 내용을 확인하시어 표준입학허가서를 신청하시기 바랍니다.

1. 신청 대상: 현재 해외 체류 중이며 2023-1학기 진학을 위해 한국에 입국하려는 학생으로, 아래 중 하나에 해당하는 외국인 유학생

  • 현재 휴학 중이며 2023-1학기 복학하려는 자(2023학년도 1학기 휴학 및 복학 안내 공지(https://bit.ly/3h6Zwtw)를 반드시 참고할 것)

  • 휴학한 것은 아니나 한국에서 출국한 지 1년이 초과되어 기존 비자를 사용하여 한국에 입국할 수 없는 자

  • 입학 후 한국에 입국한 적이 없어 최초로 D-2 비자 발급이 필요한 자

  • 기타 기존에 발급한 D-2 비자를 이용하여 입국이 불가능하여 새로운 D-2 비자를 발급 받아야 하는 자

2. 신청 기간: 2022. 12. 8.(목)~2023. 2. 10.(금)

3. 신청 방법: 온라인 신청(https://naver.me/Gt99UYfb)
온라인 신청 시 ① 여권 사본, ② 은행잔고증명서($20,000 USD 이상)* 스캔파일, ③ 은행잔고증명서 원본 우편발송 증빙서류(예: DHL 인보이스 등)를 첨부하여야 함

  * 은행잔고증명서 제출 시 유의사항

   - 표준입학허가서 신청일 기준 최근 20일 이내에 발급한 본인 또는 부모 명의의 은행잔고증명서(부모님 명의의 경우 가족관계증명서 추가 제출)

   - 중국은행 은행잔고증명서는 2023년 3월 31일까지 잔고 동결

   - 중국 소재 은행의 경우, 다음의 4가지 은행만 인정: Bank of China, China Construction Bank, ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China

   - 원본 또한 학번을 명시하여 아래 주소로 반드시 제출하여야 하며, 표준입학허가서 신청 시 은행잔고증명서 스캔파일과 함께 원본서류를 우편 발송했다는 증빙(예: DHL 인보이스 등)을 첨부하여야 함

   - 은행잔고증명서와 가족관계증명서는 한국어/영어로 발급된 것 또는 한국어 또는 영어로 번역 공증된 것만 인정됨

4. 발급 방법: 모든 신청서류가 완벽히 제출된 경우 표준입학허가서 발급에는 평균적으로 5~7일(평일 기준) 소요되며, 발급 시 표준입학허가서 스캔본과 본교 사업자등록증 사본을 이메일로 발송함. 원칙적으로 비자 발급 시 표준입학허가서 사본이나 스캔본을 사용할 수 있으나 공관에서 원본을 요청하는 경우, 표준입학허가서 신청서 제출 후 gsc@ewha.ac.kr로 별도 요청할 것.

5. 유의사항

  • 반드시 비자 발급이 필요하고 입국 계획이 있는 경우에만 표준입학허가서를 신청할 것

  • 표준입학허가서 신청 시 모든 정보가 정확하게 입력되었는지 반드시 확인할 것.

  • 신청서 제출 전 첨부한 파일이 열리는지 반드시 확인할 것.

  • 신청서는 1회만 제출할 것 (중복하여 여러번 제출할 경우 신청자 파악에 어려움이 있어 발급이 지연됨).

  • 표준입학허가서의 발급 기간은 정해져 있음. 개강 후에는 발급이 불가능하므로 반드시 신청 기간에 신청할 것.

  • 표준입학허가서는 발급일로부터 3개월 동안만 유효함. 3개월 이내 비자 신청을 하지 않을 시 표준입학허가서는 삭제됨.

  • 표준입학허가서 수령 후 바로 비자 신청을 할 것. 비자 발급에는 통상 3-4주 소요되며 공관에 따라 기간 상이함.

  • 2023. 3. 30.까지 입국하지 않을 경우 표준입학허가서와 비자 모두 취소됨.

  • 중국 거주 중인 학생의 경우, qq나 163 이메일을 사용하지 않을 것
(이메일이 전송되지 않는 경우가 있어 다른 이메일 사용 권장)

  • 표준입학허가서 발급 후 부득이하게 한국 입국 계획이 취소되거나 입국예정일이 변경되는 경우 반드시 gsc@ewha.ac.kr로 알릴 것

This notice is for current and returning students; if you are a newly admitted student for Spring 2023, please contact your admissions officer.

We are receiving Certificate of Admission (CoA) applications from international students who are currently residing overseas and are planning to come to Korea for the Spring semester with a D-2 (study abroad) visa. Please carefully read the information below and apply for a certificate of admission if needed.

1. For whom: International students who are currently residing overseas, planning to come to Korea for Spring 2023, and meet one of the conditions below

  • currently on leave and planning to return from leave in Spring 2023 (please also make sure to read the notice regarding leave of absence and returning to school for Spring 2023 at https://bit.ly/3h6Zwtw)

  • currently not on leave but in need of a new visa as the current visa has become invalid due to having been outside Korea for more than a year

  • planning to come to Korea for the first time with a D-2 visa since being admitted to Ewha

  • under any other circumstances where the student is unable to enter Korea with her current D-2 visa and require a new D-2 visa

2. Application Period: Thursday, December 8, 2022 – Friday, February 10, 2023

3. Application Process: apply online at https://naver.me/Gt99UYfb
Students are required to attach a) a copy of passport, b) a scanned bank balance certificate (minimum $20,000 USD)*, and c) proof of postage (e.g. DHL invoice, etc.) that shows that an original copy of the bank balance certificate has been sent by post when submitting their online application.

  * Important Information regarding Bank Balance Certificates

   - Certificates must have been issued under student's or parents' names within 20 days as of the date of CoA application (certificates issued under parents' names must be accompanied by a family relation certificate)

   - Certificates issued at a bank in China must show a balance that is valid until March 31, 2023

   - In case of banks located in China, only certificates issued at one of the following four will be accepted: Bank of China, China Construction Bank, ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China

   - An original copy must also be submitted by post to the address below; please write your student ID on top of the certificate. Proof of postage (e.g. DHL invoice, etc.) must be attached along with a scanned file of the certificate when submitting your online application for a CoA.

   - Bank balance certificates as well as family relation certificates must either be issued in Korean/English or translated into Korean/English and notarized.

4. Issuance Process: After ALL required documents have been submitted according to the guidelines above, it usually takes 5 to 7 business days for a CoA to be issued. A scanned copy of your certificate and a copy of the university’s business registration certificate will be sent to your email address. A photocopy or a scanned copy of CoA is sufficient in principle; if the Korean embassy in your country requests an original copy, please send this request to gsc@ewha.ac.kr after submitting your online application.

5. Important Notes: Students are asked to

  • submit their application ONLY if in need of a new D-2 visa and planning to come to Korea for the Spring 2023 semester

  • check whether all information on the application form is correct

  • make sure that the files they attach can be accessed without error

  • submit their application only ONCE (submitting the same application several times causes great delay in the issuance process)

  • keep in mind that CoAs can only be issued during a certain period of time. They will not be issued in any case after the start of the semester; please ensure that your application is submitted within the application period.

  • note that CoAs are only valid for 3 months upon issuance. Should students not apply for a visa within 3 months, the CoA will be deleted.

  • apply for a visa immediately upon receiving their CoA. Visa applications usually require 3 to 4 weeks to be processed, but this processing time may vary among embassies.

  • note that the CoA and D-2 visa of students who fail to come to Korea by March 30, 2023 will be cancelled.

  • refrain from using qq or 163 email accounts as emails sent from such domains sometimes do not reach the university inbox

  • inform the International Student Affairs Team office via email at gsc@ewha.ac.kr should their travel plans to Korea change or get cancelled.
