[★필독/IMPORTANT★] 2022-2학기 입국 외국인 유학생 대상 코로나19 관련 중요사항 / Important Information Regarding COVID-19 for Incoming International Students (Updated October 1)

해외에서 입국하는 모든 외국인 유학생은 코로나19 관련 아래 안내에 따라주시기 바랍니다.

입국 전

1. 해외입국자의 코로나19 음성확인서 제출기준

* 음성확인서 제출 의무가 2022. 9. 3.부터 중단되었습니다.

①검사방법	‣ NAATs(Nucleic acid amplification tests) 기법에 기초한 검사 유전자 증폭 검출(RT-PCR, LAMP, TMA, SDA, NEAR 등)에 기반 - 또는 전문가용 항원검사(RAT, AG, Antigen)도 인정함 * 검사기법과 상관없이 검체채취를 스스로 실시하는 경우는 인정하지 않음.
②검사 및 발급시점	‣ PCR: 출발일 0시 기준 48시간(2일) 이내 검사한 음성확인서일 것 - 전문가용 항원검사: 출발일 0시 기준 24시간(1일) 이내 검사 * (예시) ‘22.5.23. 10:00시 출발 시 5.21일 0시 이후 검사한 것으로 확인된 PCR 음성확인서(또는 5.22일 0시 이후 검사한 것으로 확인된 전문가용 항원검사 음성확인서)
③필수기재	‣ 성명, 생년월일, 검사방법, 검사일자, 검사결과, 발급일자, 검사기관명이 기재되어 있을 것 성명은 여권 기재내용과 동일(여권과 성명이 동일하다면 미들네임은 생략 가능) ** 여권번호 또는 ID카드번호도 가능
④검사결과	‣ 검사 결과가 ‘음성’ 일 것 * 검사결과 기재사항이 ‘미결정’, ‘양성’ 등인 경우 인정하지 않음
⑤발급언어	‣‘검사방법’항목은 한글 또는 영문으로 발급되어야 할 것 * 검사방법이 한글이나 영문이 아닌 경우, 한글 또는 영문 번역본과 번역인증 서류를 함께 제출 시 인정. (단, 개인번역본의 경우 공증기관이나 대사관의 인증을 받아야 함)

* 제출 예외 대상: 국내(한국) 확진일로부터 10일 경과 40일 이내(한국으로 출발일 기준)인 D-2 비자 소지자 등 장기체류 외국인(“외국인등록증”, “국내거소신고증”, “영주증”, ‘주한 공관원 신분증’, ‘주한미군 신분증’ 중 한 가지 이상 서류 + 국내 발급한 격리통지서 또는 격리해제 사실확인서 소지자에 한함)

※ 음성확인서 제출 예외대상이라도, 발열 등 증상이 있는 경우에는 비행기 탑승 불가하며, 입국 후 1일 이내 PCR 검사 대상임은 동일함

2. 입국 전 검역정보 Q-CODE(https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr) 사전 입력

입국 전 유효한 여권정보, 코로나19 음성확인서, 이메일 및 연락처 등을 사전에 입력하고 검역에 필요한 QR코드를 발급받아야 합니다. 첨부된 Q-CODE 매뉴얼을 반드시 확인하여 주시기 바랍니다.

한국 도착 후

공항 검역관에게 Q-CODE에서 발급받은 QR코드(종이로 인쇄하거나 전자기기로 캡처한 코드)를 제시하여야 합니다.

인천공항에 외국인 유학생 입국 안내소가 운영 중이니 공항 도착 후 문의사항이 있는 경우 이용 가능합니다. 안내소 위치와 연락처 정보는 아래를 참고하여 주시기 바랍니다.

입국 후

* 아래의 '입국 후 1일 이내 PCR 의무 검사'가 2022. 10. 1.부터 중단되었습니다. 입국 후 3일 이내 검사희망자는 보건소에서 무료 PCR 검사 가능합니다.

1. 입국 후 1일 이내 PCR 검사 (입국일 다음날까지 인정)

입국 당일 또는 입국일 다음날 거주지 관할 보건소에서 PCR 검사를 받아야 합니다. 본교에서 가장 가까운 PCR 검사소 정보는 아래와 같습니다.

∙ 운영시간: 13:00~17:00, 18:00~21:00 (소독)17:00~18:00

∙ 금액: 무료(외국인장기체류자)

* 검사 결과가 나올 때까지 거주지에 대기

2. 검사 결과 Q-CODE(https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr) 등록

첨부된 Q-CODE 매뉴얼의 안내에 따라 입국 1일차 PCR 검사 결과를 등록하여야 합니다.

3. 검사 결과 양성인 경우: 링크(https://naver.me/G1IDreOe)에 접속하여 국제학생팀에 즉시 보고

* 개강 직전 혹은 이후 양성 판정을 받은 경우, 수강 중/예정인 교과목 교수님께 개별 연락 요망

* 검사 결과 음성인 경우: 입국 6~7일 차 RAT 검사

4. 재학생 교내 Ewha Safe Station (ESS) 이용 안내

본교 재학생은 교내 검사소(ESS)에서 코로나19 검사를 받을 수 있습니다. 재학 중 증상이 있거나 검사받기를 희망하는 학생은 아래 링크를 통하여 예약 후 검사를 받으시기 바랍니다.

All incoming international students from outside Korea are asked to commit to following the guidelines below regarding COVID-19.

Before Departure

1. Requirement for Proof of a Pre-Departure Negative COVID-19 Test Result

* No longer required as of Septmeber 3, 2022.

Category	Requirement
① Test type (Method)	‣ The test needs to be based on nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs). * Either a supervised Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) taken at a hospital or clinic, or DNA amplification-based PCR test (RT-PCR, LAMP, TMA, SDA or NEAR, etc) is valid. * All forms of self-administered tests are NOT valid regardless of test type.
② Time of testing and issuance of PCR (RAT) negative certification	‣ A PCR Test: must be performed and its negative result certificate must be issued within 48 hours (two days) before the departure date. - A Supervised RAT: must be performed and its negative result certificate must be issued within 24 hours prior to the departure date. * e.g. If you are departing from a country to Korea on May 23, 2022 at 10:00, you must submit your negative PCR test result taken after 00:00 on May 21, 2022 or supervised negative RAT result taken after 00:00 on May 22, 2022.
③ Required items	‣ Name, date of birth, test method, test date, test result, date of issuance, and name of testing center should be included in the test result. The name on the test result needs to match the name on the passport (middle name can be omitted as long as the other names are identical) ** Passport number or national ID number is acceptable in lieu of date of birth
④ Test result	‣ The test result must be NEGATIVE. * If the test result is “INDETERMINATE”, “UNCLEAR”, or “POSITIVE”, the result is invalid.
⑤ Language	‣ The test method must be written in Korean or English. * If the test method is written in a language other than Korean or English, a translated copy of the test result in Korean or English needs to be submitted together with a certificate of translation. (If the test result was translated by individual translators, the translated document needs to be certified by a notary office or Korean embassy.)

* Foreign nationals on a long-term stay (including D-2 visa holders) who had COVID-19 in Korea and are re-entering Korea within 10 to 40 days from the date when they tested positive are exempt from the above requirement to present a pre-departure negative test result. This exemption is only applied to those holding both a) one of the following: residence card, overseas Korean resident card, permanent resident card, ID card of diplomatic mission in Korea or USFK Common Access Card and b) a notice of isolation or a confirmation certificate of release from isolation issued in Korea

※ Symptomatic persons shall not be permitted to board their flight even if they are exempt from having to submit proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. Exempted persons will also have the same obligation to get a PCR test on the first day of arrival in Korea.

2. Quarantine Information Registration on Q-CODE(https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr) (prior to boarding flight)

Students are required to input their passport information, email address, contact information, etc. and upload their negative COVID-19 test result at https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr in advance. Upon completion of this information registration, a QR code will be issued. Please carefully read the attached Q-CODE manuals.

Ⅱ

Upon Arrival

Students will be asked to present their QR code to the quarantine officer at the airport. All types of QR codes, including those printed on paper and screenshots on electronic devices can be used.

Information booths for international students will be available at Incheon International Airport for urgent enquiries. The location and contact information are as below.

After Entry

* The "PCR Test Requirement within ONE Day after Entry" below has been lifted as of October 1, 2022.

Those who wish to be tested may get a PCR test at public health centers free of charge within three days upon arrival in Korea.

1. PCR Test Requirement within ONE Day after Entry
(test taken on the day or the next day of arrival is accepted)

All students are required to take a PCR test on the day of arrival or on the next day of arrival at a nearby public health centre. Below is information on the closest PCR testing site from Ewha campus.

2. Test Result Registration on Q-CODE(https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr)

Students must upload their Day 1 PCR test result on Q-CODE after carefully reading the attached Q-CODE manuals.

3. What to do upon Receiving Day 1 Test Result

- Students who receive a POSITVE result must report to the International Student Affairs Team immediately via the following link: https://naver.me/G1IDreOe

* Those who receive a positive result near the beginning of the semester or after the semester has started should individually contact the professors of courses they’re taking.

* Students with a negative result are advised to take an RAT on the 6th or 7th day of arrival.

4. Information on On-Campus Testing at Ewha Safe Station (ESS)

All students enrolled at Ewha have access to on-campus COVID-19 testing at Ewha Safe Station (ESS). Students who develop symptoms or who simply wish to be tested can make a reservation to get tested by clicking on the link below.
