현재 해외 체류 중인 외국인 유학생 중 2021-2학기 입국을 위해 D-2 유학 비자 발급이 필요한 학생들을 대상으로 표준입학허가서 발급 신청을 받습니다. 아래의 내용 확인하시어 표준입학허가서를 신청하기 바랍니다.

1. 신청 대상: 현재 해외 체류 중이며 2021-2학기 진학을 위해 한국에 입국하려는 아래의 외국인 유학생

• 현재 휴학 중이며 2021-2학기 복학하려는 자

• 휴학한 것은 아니나 한국에서 출국한 지 1년이 초과되어 기존 비자를 사용하여 한국에 입국할 수 없는 자

• 입학 후 한국에 입국한 적이 없어 최초로 D-2 비자 발급이 필요한 자(ex. 입학 후 온라인으로만 수강하다가 최초로 한국에 입국하려는 자)

• 기타 기존에 발급한 D-2 비자를 이용하여 입국이 불가능하여 새로운 D-2 비자를 발급 받아야 하는 자

2. 신청 기간: 2021. 6. 7.(월) ~ 8.13.(금), 기간 엄수

3. 신청 방법

  3) 표준입학허가서신청서 작성 후 여권 사본 및 은행 잔고증명서와 함께 gsc@ewha.ac.kr 로 이메일 송부. 이메일 송부 시 제목을 “학번+이름+표준입학허가서 신청”으로 작성. 표준입학허가서 발급에는 약 1주일 소요.

4. 유의사항

• 반드시 비자 발급이 필요하고 입국 계획이 있는 경우에만 표준입학허가서 신청할 것

• 표준입학허가서 신청 시 은행잔고증명서 원본(미화 기준 US$20,000 이상)을 제출해야 함

• 표준입학허가서 신청서 작성 시 정확하게 작성했는지 반드시 확인할 것

• 신청서 송부 전 파일이 열리는지 반드시 확인할 것
(파일이 깨지는 경우 있음, xlsx. 혹은 xls. 형식으로 보낼 것)

• 신청서 송부 시 중복으로 이메일 송부 지양
(중복해서 보내게 되면 신청자 파악에 어려움 있음. 신청서를 정상적으로 수취한 경우에는 수취확인 이메일을 송부할 예정임)

• 표준입학허가서의 발급 기간은 정해져 있습니다. 개강 후에는 발급이 불가능하므로 반드시 신청 기간에 신청하기 바랍니다.

• 원본이 필요한 경우 이메일에 별도 표기
(원칙적으로 비자 발급 시 공관에서 사본이나 스캔본을 사용할 수 있으나 원본을 부득이하게 요청하는 경우가 있음. 이런 경우 원본 송부 요청할 것)

• 표준입학허가서 수령 후 바로 비자 신청할 것. 통상 비자 발급에 3-4주 소요되며 공관에 따라 기간 상이함.

• 중국 거주 중인 학생의 경우, qq 이메일이나 163 이메일 사용 지양
(이메일이 전송되지 않는 경우가 있어 다른 이메일 사용 권장)

• 표준입학허가서 발급 후 부득이하게 한국 입국 예정이 없는 경우 반드시 gsc@ewha.ac.kr로 알릴 것

We are receiving applications for the certificate of admission from international students who are residing overseas at the moment and are planning to come to Korea for the Fall semester with a D-2 (study abroad) visa. Please check the following thoroughly and apply for the certificate of admission if needed.

1. Subject: International students who are currently residing overseas, planning to come to Korea for Fall 2021 and are under the following conditions:

• Those who are currently on leave and planning to return from leave for Fall 2021

• Those who are not currently on leave but need to get a new visa issued since the last departure from Korea has exceeded more than a year and cannot come to Korea with her current visa

• Those who are initially getting their D-2 visas issued after being admitted to Ewha and are planning to come to Korea for the first time (e.g. Those who are coming to Ewha for the first time after taking courses entirely online)

• Those who are facing other situations than the above who cannot come to Korea with the current D-2 visa and need to get a new one

2. Application Period: June 7th (Mon) 2021 ~ August 13th (Fri), Do not miss the deadline

3. Applying for the Certificate of Admission

  1) Read the announcement

  2) Download the application for certificate of admission at the ISAT webite

  3) Send an email to gsc@ewha.ac.kr with the application form filled out and attached, along with a copy of your passport and original copy of a bank statement. When sending the email, write the title as “student id number + name + certificate of admission application.“ It takes about a week to issue the certificate.

4. Important Notes

• Apply for the certificate ONLY when you need to get a new visa and have plans in coming to Korea for the Fall semester

• Please have an original copy of a bank statement (minimum 20,000 USD) prepared when applying for the certificate.

• Review the information on the application form before sending it

• Check if the application file opens normally before sending it
(There are cases when the file is damaged and does not open. Send the application in xlsx. or xls. format)

• Do not repeatedly send the same application via email
(It is difficult to keep track of the applications when one sends the same email again and again. We will be sending confirmation emails when the application is well received.)

• The certificate of admission is available only during a certain period of time. The document is not available after the start of the semester, so do not forget to apply for it during the application period.

• Please state in the email that you need the original document in case you need one.
(In principle, it is possible to apply for a visa with a copy or a scanned version of the certificate of admission. However, there are instances where the diplomatic offices require the original document. If so, please inform the International Student Affairs Team)

• Apply for the visa as soon as you receive the certificate of admission. It takes about 3-4 weeks in average in order to get a visa and it varies among offices.

• Refrain from using qq or 163 email accounts as emails sent from such domains sometimes do not come to our inbox

• If you are not coming to Korea after receiving the certificate of admission, inform the International Student Affairs Team office via email at gsc@ewha.ac.kr
