학교는 최근 코로나19 상황이 장기화됨에 따라 경제적인 어려움을 겪고 있는 학생들에게 도움을 주고자 교직원, 동창 및 후원자 등을 대상으로 ‘코로나19 극복 긴급 모금’을 시작하였습니다. 이에 모금된 기금으로 ‘힘내라이화’장학금을 지급하고자 하오니 아래 내용을 참고하여 해당하는 학생들은 기한 내에 장학금을 신청하여 주시기 바랍니다.

To support students facing financial hardships due to the prolonged COVID-19 outbreak situation, Ewha has been collecting donations from university faculty and staff, alumnae and other donors. Ewha will distribute the funds collected and provide COVID-19 relief scholarships to students in financial distress. Students in need of emergency funds should refer to the information below and apply within the deadline.

1. 신청 자격 Eligibility (모두 해당되어야 함. Must meet all requirements.)

  1) 2020-1학기 정규등록 학부 재학생 Undergraduate enrolled for Spring 2020 (regular semester)

  2) 코로나19로 인해 아르바이트 자리를 잃거나 부모님께서 실직, 사업의 휴업 및 폐업 등으로 경제적인 어려움을 겪고 있는 학생

     Students experiencing financial difficulty such as loss of their part-time job or their parents losing jobs, having businesses closed temporarily or permanently, etc.

2. 장학금액 : 50만원 내외(등록금 초과수혜 가능)

   Scholarship amount: app. 500,000 KRW (may exceed tuition)

3. 신청기한 Application Period: 2020.4.29.(수, Wed) ~ 5.12.(화, Tue)

4. 신청방법: 장학금 신청서 및 제출 서류 (아르바이트(근로) 중단 사실 확인서) 및 기타 증빙 서류 이메일 전송 (ewhaglobal@ewha.ac.kr)

     ※ 본인의 아르바이트 및 근로가 중단된 경우 Students who have lost part-time job

       - 계약이 이루어진 경우 If employment contract exists:

          고용보험가입내역서 및 자격득실확인서 등 실직 증빙서류(건강보험공단 및 근로복지공단 발급),

          회사 및 기관에서 발급하는 무급의 휴직증명서 등

Documentation on unemployment, such as an Employment Insurance Subscription Statement and Certificate of the Insured (Issued by Health Insurance Corporation and Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service), Confirmation of Unpaid Leave issued by company or institution, etc

       - 계약이 이루어지지 않는 경우 No contract:

          아르바이트(근로) 중단 사실 확인서, 사업자등록증 사본

          ‘Confirmation of Job Loss’, Copy of Business License

※ ‘아르바이트(근로) 중단 사실 확인서 제출자 우선 선발

Students who submit the ‘Confirmation of Job Loss’ form will be given priority

5. 선발결과: 2020.05.25.(월) 이메일 발표 Results will be emailed on Monday, May 25, 2020

6. 장학금지급: 5월 말 예정(유레카에 입력된 학생 계좌)

  Payment: expected end of May (to account input in student’s Eureka portal)
